今回はFoo FightersのThe Pretenderの歌詞と和訳を載せたいと思います。
タイトルにもあるPretenderとは”ふりをする人”とは”詐欺師”なんて意味があります。
ドラマーであるデイヴ・グロールは、このPretenderとは「真実を言わず、人を欺く権力者や政治家」を表現しているそう。
そんなPretenderどもを強烈に批判した、反骨精神溢れるまさに「これぞロックだ！」と言わんばかりの名曲。
